Great article, but this is the truth of capitalism, not just the self help industry. We are sold things we don’t and never actually needed on the daily while people profit off of us all. When we could be more focused on curing things like cancer, ending homelessness and starvation and excessive imprisonment for profits… but all those things are too profitable.
